I hope so too!!

There are less and less jobs to do on it now, the only major task is to put these new Teflon bushes in the rear suspension. I will do all of them in time, but it's the rears that need them most, and need to be in for the Growl. That will complete the car machanically, the rest is cosmetic. The inside is finished, and with all the Leven jewellery it looks pretty stunning, and of course, theres that wonderful leather smell. I know it's sad.

I have run the engine for about 30 mins, no leaks or strange noises. I shall use the Growl run to lose any sharp edges, and then change the oil for Mobil 1. It hasn't been rebored, it hasn't done that many miles, so it's just a gentle bed in of the new rings, shells etc, before getting Mr Adams to set it up.

Assuming no snags, and I can't see anything obvious, it will be there.

Mr Modwise is going to put a two stage fan unit on the car for me, so that should give me peace of mind regarding the cooling.

All very exciting.

We had a large party at the house last night with 50 or so folk, many of which were TVR owners or have race cars or fast cars. I was "bullied" to start the Griff for all to here, and as it burst into life, shattering the silence in the village, I think one or two were thinking mmm I'd like one of those!!

Right, it's off to clear up, that's the down side of parties. That garden looks like a bomb has hit it. Quite a few folk stayed over so at least I will have some help. I have one of those intense headaches.

Must have been the burgers!!!

I'm not paying him honest.

It was a great night, boy did I have a headache in the morning!!

Still managed to fit the clutch pipe in the afternoon though. Luckily herself was worse than me, so I sneaked out to the workshop.
