Hiding subforums?

So despite being a member and contributing here for years, the powers that be have decided we need a comical post count to be eligible to post in NPE and the issue is closed for discussion.

As a result, I don't want posts I can't interact with clogging up the forum, Is it possible to hide all posts in "NPE" when I am browsing the "The pie & piston" group?

I am sick of wasting my time reading a topic and going to reply only to find I can't...

You can go into your profile and select what forums you wish to see by moving them across from the main list and adding them to your favourites.

Then when you enter the forums next time select "- Show Favourite Forums"

That list will only show your favourites you've previously selected.
