Guys

Looking to buy a telephoto for my Sigma SD10. I am undecided between the

70-200 EX...
100-300EX...
or the 80-400 EX OS ...

The reviews on all 3 are very good, the only probelm with the 80-400 is it doesn;t have HSM.

Is the Optical Stabilization any good? I am not the best at hand held, especially at 200+ will this help?

ANyway thanks for any advice.

Cheers Sean

I've used a Canon 28-135 IS lens on my EOS cameras for about 4 years and think its great. Prevents images going soft. Have noticed that it works best if you use autofocus rather than manual, I've only got a single focus point on my cameras and think that this is one time when I'd benefit from being able to choose a different focus area.

OS on the Sigma is very good. Focus if on AF is a bit noisey and it can hunt a bit if the focus is initially way off.

Definately glad to have the OS for roaming around - no need for a monopod :-)
