I purchased this last year in October for what I feel was a very price

|

Frozen grey comp pack, HK, EDC, heated seats, a decent spec.

More importantly, it had TA’s and RB’s done in last year, on AST5100’s wirh Alcon 6 pots, ZF wheels on direzzas’s and supplied with standard suspension and proof of services (including running in!).

So I sold the wheels and the brakes as they weren’t to my taste, and fitted the below list:

. Pole positions on Pinnacle mounts
. Mumbray cage and seat delete
. Schroth Profi ASM 4 point harnesses
. Extended paddles
. Spark industries 40ah LiFePO4 battery
(Mapped out airbag lights etc myself)

. BBS re1598 wheels on 275/35/18 AR1’s - road
. Pro track 10j wheels on 265/660 Goodyear slicks - track (£50-60 a SET)

. AP 9660/9449 brake setup (which allows me to use BTCC consumables)
. Supreme braided lines
. Castrol SRF fluid

I changed plugs, oil, all filters and thermostat to, to Genuine items. Air filter replaced with a ITG.

Next plan is to tidy up front bumper (GT4 splitter, undertray, cooling for brakes and respray) then rebuild rear end underneath. Then enjoy it :-)

I’ve noticed I keep killing ABS sensors though, which keep knocking out ABS/DSC/TPM and cruise control though….

Looks like a proper bit of kit that’s being used as intended too.

Best bit of the car!

£100 rotors and £75 pads, keeps track consumables very very cheap. Granted, they’re no good for all weather runnning and they’re a bit noisy…..

Another track day(evening) at Donington last week.

Killed another ABS sensor, so no DSC/ABS for half the session

Free photos from Javelin are good though!

Forgive my ignorance, you said it had TAs and RBs, what are they and why are they important? And what is there to look for on these?

Yours looks great BTW smile

Throttle Actuators and Rod Bearings. Two of the most common issues on the S65 engine. Other common issue being injectors which I’ll also change at some point.

Thanks by the way!
