Had a lovely day today. Loads to see and some great cars both old and new.

Loved the De Lorean, 1968 Porsche Speedster and the Model T Ford amongst others.

It was also nice to see Paul W and his new 355, it reinforced the knowledge of just how well he looded after my car when it was his!!

Nice to meet you all, John, Muncher and Phill Brett.

Look forward to the next meet.

Thanks for coming Greg, yes, we had a very good turn- out and apart from the odd chilly patch it was good.

Prize for longest distance travelled goes to Billy NoMates and colleague Nick.

Prize for oldest car: Dave L.

Prize for shiniest car: Muncher and his portable valeting kit.

Prize for latest emerged lurker: Jonathan R and his factory-fresh Griffith 4.0. How do you do it?!

Booby prize for not bringing a decent car: Ian B

Thanks to Andrew for the marquee; luckily not needed but that's how it is when you're prepared for anything! Thanks also to everyone who turned up and I hope to see you again at Rougham, Lavenham or both.

Will post some photos when I get round to it!

I was there but in a different spot with my 12/4, the marshalls sent me off in the wrong direction for our P.H. stand . So I had to walk over having parked ole AMY up in amongst some old Morris vintage cars. But a smashing day out with a very fine mix of modern and classic vehicles to admire and nice folk to chat with, as always.

Was good to meet all of you today, especially Greg, Phil and John again

Both Nobles looking stunning in particular, will stick one on the shopping list

The F355 was probably the most absolutely spotless car I have ever seen, awesome

Muncher, did your sister have a sit in my motor? I went to the fence to watch the 2nd concourse and when I came back a bit later you had gone!!

Will have to get her in it next time. And get the buffer on the car.

Yeah she did, thanks Greg. A few others asked if they could sit in it but I said they'd have to ask you, so they went and sat in mine instead, hardly the same thing

Nice talking to you Greg, we'll have to have a drive/track session some time, hopefully you'll have the M400 soon anyway

Sure thing! I am just about to book Silverstone for 3rd Nov and Bedford GT for 10th Dec. Both with Lotus on track. Be good to see you there.

As for the M400.............I need to get a WC in my Caravan before I start thinking about nnew cars!! Sometimes I wonder weather selling my house to buy a car was a good idea!

Nice to see everyone. Sorry I had to shoot off without saying goodbye to most, but I guess you were all queuing for food/drink/loo's/everything mostly!

Got the odd good pic to post up when I get 5 mins. Didn't get to try the new vid cam much there but having a quick play when I got home I can say it's the business.

Parking next to Gregs perfect Noble has made me want another respray. I think you'll find the odd trackday will soon knock a few lumps out of your's though. Hey, they're supposed to be used anyway!

See you all soon.

Hi all,

Phil and I had a really good day. Very much enjoyed being part of the pistonheads stand. Thank you for the invitation.
