2005 BMW E46 320ci sport
Discussion
Hello all! It’s been a good while since I have posted on here, I thought I would post my current car. I initially bought it as a cheap run around after I sold my M235i, however with the current prices of cars and the fact that I actually quite like it, it’s stayed for a year!
So it’s a 2005 E46 320ci, with the full ‘M sport’ body kit. Being the 2.2, it’s not exactly very quick, but it does the job. The last year has essentially been trying to tidy the car up a bit and keep on top of maintenance, which I think most E46 owners will know is a constantly ongoing job haha. The current plan is to do a bit of a refresh of the suspension, and some of the bushing to get it up to a good standard for enjoying!

Agree with the comments - Lovely looking things.
The longest I've kept any car by a country mile, back in 2005 I bought a manual 2001 Saphire Black 325Ci. Black leather interior with the carbon effect trim.
At 25 years old and with all 192bhp to me it was an absolute rocket ship
I cherished that car for 7 wonderful years underetaking all manner of preventative maintenance items to keep it in tip top running order. From memory this included but was not limited to;
Cooling system overhaul
PCV replacement
Serpentine Belt with replacement tensioner and idler pulley
Meyle Front wishbones which took care of the knocking lollipop bushes
RTAB's
Brembo vented discs and pads
Loads more stuff I cant remember!
During the first years ownership I travelled up to Liverpool to have a Blueflame cat back exahsut fitted, made it sound as good as it looked.
I've had all manner of BMW's since including an E93 330i, E92 335i (manual N55), and 440i Coupe with MPPSK, and through partially rose tinted glasses I suspect, I still miss the E46 the most.
God I loved that car... Hope it brings you at least half of the enjoyment mine brought me!

Looks good OP - Space Grey Metallic?
I think the E46 (and E39) has aged really well; its well proportioned and pretty to my eyes. I had a 325ti which I loved despite it hating me and costing me loads in maintenance (would have been loads less painful if I was as willing as I am now to get stuck in myself).
