How long from Manc Airport to Preston at 8am

Ok so I have no idea what traffic is like at 8am coming away from manchester. Assuming M56/M6 is quickest.

Think it will take me about 45mins to get there because I'll be leaving preston before 7, just getting back I'm worried about because of work!

I would say 45 mins sounds about right, allow an hour to be on the safe side........

Yeah, mum thinks I'm stupid and I'll be late for work. But if I'm at the airport for 7ish it gives me 2 hours to get to work. Was told that if I left it to get to the airport at 8 I might be pushing it to be back in preston for 9.

Most traffic is going into Manchester, not out. You shouldn't be too bad on the way home.

Oh and is it quite simple to get out of there!?! Always looks complicated!

Very simple indeed, straight onto the motorway. There will be traffic, but from what I've seen it's mainly Southbound.

45 minutes will be pushing it. I'd say 75 minutes really. The M6 onto the M62 can sometimes be a nightmare.

I reckon about 1 hr going up the M56 and onto the M6. Avoid the 60 and the 61 like the plague.

And the answer is....50 mins!
Went M56/M6 and it wasn't too bad. Now have an hour to spare before work! *yawn*
