E10 in X5 4.8is

Hi

I have recently acquired an E53 X5 4.8is but I can’t seem to work out if it will take E10 fuel or not?

Does anyone know for sure or how I can confirm?

I use it in my 4.6is. no issues so far

Thanks both. Allegedly all BMWs ever made are ok with E10 according to the gov site. Not sure I completely believe that but another PHer running it in the 4.6 is conclusive enough I guess.

I have the same engine in my E70. I use E5 (typically Tesco 99).

E10 is fine to use though.
