New keeper /or not

Hi,I bought a car from a dealer last week and put my old car in as px,I've now received a letter from DVLA stating I'm now not the registered keeper of my old vehicle which is correct, but it also states that I'm not the new keeper on my new vehicle,but surly I must be as it's taxed in my name ,I'm lost here haha

Could you post the DVLA wording? It might be unreadable legal jargon.

Not yet ,I was expecting it and thought this letter was it until I opened it
