ACA had a 2 day auction 11th / 12th June. Many of them failed to reach the reserve prices, some may sell later after negotiation:

Still some high prices on some cars though. This Mk1 XR2 went for 50% more than expected at £18k + fees. I went to view the cars in this auction and the bonnet on it had a rust scab and small dings in it. There was rust around the washer jet mounting too. I expect the top bidder did it on the internet and never saw the car. I really don't get the Ford 'scene.'

Apparently it is the cars from the 80s and 90s that are making the money now.

The drop in prices for Astons and E Types is significant.

As has been said numerous times before, as the age profiles of the people able to afford higher priced classics changes, the cars are getting newer. Personally it’s 70s/80s and 90s stuff I like

just followed an auction on t'internet for a popular 90's Italian car, reached a few ££ over £20K so £21K+ inc fees etc but didn't reach reserve. The estimate was well in excess of the highest bidder and a few months ago may have reached that estimate. Others have. Still more than I can afford and more than twice what it would have sold for a few years ago.
