Yesterday was the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022, and there was some promising looking footage of the new Forza Motorsport.

Release data 'Spring 2023'

Trailer :

And a "Gameplay demo" without much actual game play and a bit too much focus on a river that you wont even see at 100 mph, but sure looks pretty!

Really looking forward to this. Although 7 had a naff career mode the visual are spectacular on the One X enhanced version.

Hoping for a return the career mode from 4. I want to beat supercars in a tuned up civic laugh

I hope Turn 10 does a better job with this than PGG did with the bug fest they called Horizon 5.

The FMS games are always a cut above. Looking forward to this and hoping it has more road courses than the last couple of FM games.

After the st show that was GT7 I'm tempted to trade the PS5 in for a Series X to hop back on the Forza train. Last Playstation I had before the 5 was the 3 and I used my Xbox One far more than I have the PS5 so far.

After the stshow that was Horizon 5's launch and the overall state of the game 8 months later, I wouldn't be in any rush to drop my PS5 just for Motorsport 8.

But I suppose with the Forza hype train just leaving the station, I can see the temptation.

Yeah the last motorsport took a long time to be good & Horizon 5 is just a bit crap. Hopefully this is a bit of a refresh but I'm not holding out much hope aside from a light polish on a few things.

I hope they ditch the homologation system from the last game, which made trying to do your own upgrades completely pointless. Also, something I've been hoping for since the first game, but can we please have adjustable rear wings that don't look like something from The Fast & The Furious?

I've had an X1 for such a long time, but wanted a next-gen racer. I was going to jump ship onto a PS5 later on this year and try GT7 (as I'm of the generation that was teens when GT1 came out), but with this coming, I'm not so sure. I played a bit of previous FM games but they never grabbed me like FH3/4 did. Mind you, FH5 feels like stale for me. In no hurry, but I imagine the FM/GT comparison will majority define which next gen console I get.

We can but hope. The fugly Forza aero has always been a pet peeve of mine.

They seem to copy and paste so much from previous games, bugs and all, that I doubt it’ll happen.

Hoping it has 120fps support although not hopeful with those 4K Graphics taking up all the resources.
