Astra J 1.4 2011 A14XER F17 gearbox pilot bearing

Hi all

Does anyone have experience with the engine in the title or mechanical experience?

I've strip the flywheel off in the hope of changing pilot bearing which allows the gearbox input shaft to turn at a different speed to the engine when the clutch is disengaged but can't find the bearing.

Theres just a hole a perfect size for the input shaft to sit in, checked size with allighnment tool.

I'll attach photo.

Should this just be greased and if so what grease should be used or is there an actual part missing?

Any help as usual greatly appreciated.
