Yet another case of a parent killing their child in a prolonged catalogue of abuse. Horrifically sad and distressing to read.

Safe to say that these two deserve to rot.

Hardly surprising that several jurors have had to be relieved of their duty on this case. I don't think I could live with the images they're having to view.

It is beyond horrific, there isn't a hole deep enough for the perpetrators.

There is no worse crime than this. To not feel safe with (never mind loved by) your own parent/s is simply unconscionable.

It must be terrifying for a child to be scared for their life from the one person they would naturally turn to when they're scared.

Horrific.

None of you guys overly keen on the whole "fair trial" & "innocent until proven guilty" concepts?

If found guilty then by all means nail them to the floor but give them due process first.

They might be savages but we are not.

One of them has pleaded guilty to manslaughter...

Fine. Punish them accordingly. What about the one pleading not guilty whom you wish to harm prior to fair trial?

Where did anyone suggest that they should be punished without trial?

Assuming they are found guilty - and there are not likely to be many other suspects - the sentence will be laughable.

You've presumed them guilty. Your statement "left to rot" implies a a certain amount of punishment.

It doesn't matter how many other suspects there are- it matters whether guilt is established beyond reasonable doubt.

If guilty I would prefer a 'robust' sentence.

Jesus. It's hard to figure out what is wrong with some people. Also, I thought martial arts taught you discipline and respect for others. Clearly, he's a Cobra Kai student!

I hope they each get a good solid kicking every day they are in prison.

Poor kid, horrific.
