Rushing in to the Silverstone Museum this afternoon and this was parked in the car park on our way in.

I assumed it was some kind of prop or fake but wasn't there when we came out:



I assume now it was the real McCoy. It was lovely, just wishing I'd taken more than one photo.

There is that!

But it can be repaired & it is ‘just’ an E-Type, albeit a very special one.


I take the same attitude to historic racing.
Better to see it alive with the risk of a new panel being required than static.
