Best do a HP check on any potential purchase and make sure they haven't been clocked.

Also check the suspension and fluid levels.....

If it's a deep shagpile, have a good comb through it to ensure there is nothing living in it.

If there are bald patches ensure there is nothing rubbing against it.

If it needs a good clean then try somewhere else
