Has anyone had any experience of eating in his non London restaurants (either before bankruptcy or after) is his pub the Fox worth a detour?

Lyme Regis for me too. There's a chef's table downstairs which is great.

The Fox is OK, but... inconsistent.

I've had good meals and so so ones.

Worth driving an hour for, I guess, but there are plenty of places as good.

If you do go, the adjacent A356 from Maiden Newton to Chedington is am excellent drive.
