Saw this on the news this morning (South Today 07:55) a couple were killed yesterday (i think) in collision with a truck.
South Today showed footage of the accident that took place on a dangerous junction. About 30ft behind the scene was a fixed Speed Camera. So obviously this camera was doing a good job, and that spped was obviously the cause. Perhaps the council might consider re-engineering of the junction next time rather that cash generation via scumera partnerships!
On a side note, the story was dropped in the later edition..... probably becasue it conflicted with the speed kills story about a family trying to raise awareness in teenagers near chichester.
