Have you tried looking on DVLA website. Link at bottom of page for mark sales. Might have some joy there mate?

I meant did anybody know the car that had L640 YAY when new - a blue Chimaera.

yes sorry I thought it was a Graphite grey one I sold years ago, YAY reg would poss mean it was a TMS or Graypauls car from new - where was it serviced?

Yes it was GrayPaul's from new - I'm looking for some early service history for my car, car is 1993 vintage!

Do you reckon they'll still have records from that era, bearing in mind they're no longer in Loughborough and don't do TVRs anymore?

try ringing TMS service too as they will probably have taken over the servicing in circa May 1994 when Graypauls left as TVR main agents.

Email me offline if you want with some previous owners as i may know someinfo on the cars history etc.

Thanks for the offer Jamer I've got all the previous owners names and addresses from DVLA, so my next plan of action was to write to them and find out where they serviced it or if they still have the records.

Just taken a wander around the DVLA site out of curiosity...the freedom of infomation page i found quite interesting http://dvla.gov.uk/vehicles/foi.htm on my machine it comes up as "the page canot be found", how erm...fitting!
