Fuel pump relay

I've been told these cost about £40. Is this true?!?!

Reason I ask is that I either have a dicky connection, or one of them is on its way out. Either way, I'd like to keep a spare in the boot.

No. Well, it probably is true you were told that, but they don't actually cost £40. I paid £18 each for the last couple from my local LR dealer, I suspect you could get them cheaper if you shopped around.

Land Rover part number is AFU2913L.

You could also get them from Austec, or indeed any other nice chap who keeps them in stock. Expect £15-18 in this case.

I think the std ones are Bosch and I got replacements for around 12-15 pounds each (Fuel pump and ECU - two the same). I assume the LR part is the right relay - the wrong one can flatten the battery (some permanent live thing going on - I'll leave the knowledgable ones to explain more).
