Anyone get free sky channels through sky plus box?

Since we cancelled our Sky subscription we've been able to still watch quite a few sky channels via our sky plus box as usual. Until today, when the screen tells us that our satellite box is not receiving a signal. It's not a faulty box as we have two and both say the same thing. Has Sky stopped supplying a signal unless a subscription is in place? I've googled this but have found nothing

No, we've watched certain channels for the last few years without a subscription. Then they disappeared today. I should have explained better

Yep, you should still get the free channels.

You get them through the box for 60 days after cancelling....

Doesn't it normally revert to (basically) just the free to air stuff if not subscribed? You don't lose the lot.

More likely than not its a fault at your dish, you might have two boxes but I bet they connect to a multi output LNB on the same dish.

Should still receive free to air channels, check your signal strength in the settings menu.
May be a dodgy lnb on the dish or just the connnections.
