I was on the way to work this morning when I saw a man with a camera on a tripod standing on the overpass ahead of me. He wasn't wearing any hi viz just a brown trenchcoat and the camera didn't look anything special, he didn't have a car or van parked next to him either so I'm sure it was just someone taking pictures but I'm still a bit paranoid as I'm still in the two year period where you can only get 6 points.

Should I be worried?

How fast were you going?

Good place to practice taking pics of vehicles when they are moving to get movement shots. If it's dusk, then you can make nice effects with headlamps and tailights.

If you had a duel on a carriageway it suggests that you found someone to fight.......

Plenty of transport photographers use motorway and dual carriageway bridges etc.

Safest solution is to keep to the law, then you can concentrate on driving rather than someone with a camera.

You might want to moderate your speed then.

Well you see, there was a duo of duelling lorries having a right old duel, I tried to get past but I couldn’t alas and so I sat behind like a mule.

I’ve been wrong before and will be again but would be quite surprised if a bloke in a brown trench coat was there for speed enforcement.

Past. Unless you meant you tried to get someone to overtake you in which case passed was correct.

Maybe spend more time watching your speed and less time looking at blokes on bridges then?
