10-12k Daily Hatch

The Tiguan st itself and I'm just a bit bored of it now, normally sticking to a 6 month ownership of my cars

Want to change back to a Petrol too as only do 5-7k a year and mostly short journeys, the Tiguan was only bought for a bit of extra space when we were buying our first house.

Dont necessarily have to have a hot hatch but would be my preference, just looking for the pick of the bunch regarding models and spec really

Main candidates would be Golf GTI MK7 or lesser engine, Focus ST-2/3 but no idea about the lesser spec/engines

Dont want anything that will be horrendously expensive to fuel this time and size wise has to be the mid-size hatches otherwise i would probably just go for a Fiesta ST for ease and costs

I'd say go for the Astra GTC VXR it's only a smidge behind the Megane RS250/265 Cup Chassis cars when it comes to handling & they've got a nicer ride when it comes to daily duties.

They're underrated & you'll get a nicely spec'd one for your budget.
