I’m off to France in the motor home next week and although I’ve been over to Le Mans in it 3 times I’ve never used electric hook up, is there a converter I need for their electric boxes or will my lead plug straight in?

You'll need an adaptor lead or rewire your mains cable. Easiest is an adaptor like this;

Seven quid and Caktanks are excellent. Problem is once you start looking throguh their site, there goes an hour and fifty quidrolleyes

Many places use the blue 3 pin 16A plug but some sites still use the 2 pin one so worth carrying an adaptor.

that link Colin put in above didn't work for me so here is another one but shop around as they are cheaper than this...

I would definitely also say take a plug in polarity checker. Some sites have the live and neutral swapped around.
I have 2 adapters 1 normal the other swapped.

Same here

...again these can be bought or you could get a normal one and rewire yourself.
