Car for a tall family that is small-ish and good to drive
Discussion
My son has hit 5'10" at age 13 and is probably going to get a lot taller (wouldn't be surprised if he ends up around 6'4" within a few years). My daughter is also 5'10" (fingers crossed she has stopped growing), I'm 6'1".
Looking for a car that is not too big on the outside but will accommodate a 6'4" passenger, ideally in either front or back, with a 5'10" passenger sat either behind or in front of them.
Would also like it to be good to drive. Not necessarily fast, but something that can be hustled along a B-road if the opportunity arises.
Would prefer something from the last 3 years, but will consider older.
Shortlist so far is:
- Seat/Cupra Leon
- Cupra Formentor
- Focus
Budget equivalent to 25k I suppose. Any other suggestions?

I hate to be a killjoy but you can pretty much forget hatchbacks I'm 6'7 & turn hatchbacks/3 Series/A4's etc into 3/4 seaters so in reality you'll need something bigger but you have a healthy budget so there are some good options.
I'll go leftfield first.

Having to solve a similar set of needs (me 6'4", daughter 5'10"), I've ended up with a Skoda Rapid Spaceback. From my research at the time, get the youngest 1.2 you can, rather than the slightly newer 1.0s.
It will never set the world on fire, but it's a tidy steer and there's plenty of room for all passengers - I can sit behind myself , if you know what I mean (and I can do that in a mk1 Aygo, too, so if you want a really small car...)
It's a head car rather than a heart car.
The Sport (approx 120bhp engine, the fastest petrol) and I think the Tech have the extended glass, which includes a glass panoramic roof which I also find helps with perceived headroom and general airiness.

I've sat in back of a 2017 generation focus before with a 6"2 driver in front of me, and my knees were pretty much pressed against seat in front. Didnt realise how cramped they are in the back. These cars are fine for young families, but with a group of 5"10 and above you wouldn't want to travel far.

How the bloody hell do you fit on a zx10? You must look like a frog sat on a matchbox (how a mate described me on cbr600rr @ 6'5")I'll go leftfield first.

I look ridiculous on the newer 10R but my 2005 ZX10R is just fine as is my MV & S1000RR, I wouldn't attempt to fit on a 600
