I’m not really sure if this is allowed... but I’m only trying to help.
You never know the power of PH, as it could be anywhere by now.

So *** 864F... where are you.
I really hope that there is a successful outcome.

Strange irked
Looks like a show car & the poor chaps pride & joy. but quite agree & just hope it’s found...intact
I Don’t know how many ‘classics’ get stolen... I can’t see it being used for crime & it must be a small market to sell on, unless they try & get it out of the country.

Good luck finding the car.

For those without Facebook, maybe a bit more information might help.

Apologies thumbup
I have changed the link on the header to the papers web page.

It has to be out there... somewhere.

Nice car, it's not going to get lost in a crowd.

Good luck.

Very sad ....

To compound this I wonder what the insurance position is given that he voluntarily gave the scroat the keys - will they pay?

I sadly doubt that they will..
Maybe there is a way to get back some compensation for the loss..?
I feel that the car to the owner is worth far more than the possible payout..
Such a cruel and wicked thing to do.. frown

Makes you wonder if it’s in a lockup somewhere, awaiting shipment or already has been shipped abroad. scratchchin

Wasn’t there a poster on here a couple of years ago and his dad had a lovely XK Jaguar soft top stolen off a drive overnight. He had parked it on his drive as had an early start the next day.

Probably crated up & marked up as ‘tractor parts’.
