Just had a mess around with my 3 bikes (which I have to sell soon:() to try and get some decent shots. Most of them are crappy and my camera has some oil on it now, but here you go:

I think the 3rd and 4th ones work best as you have one object sharp and others blurred. Tricky subject to do as there are lots of shiny metallic bits around that can reflect light distractingly. Try to keep the compositions simple. I like the idea of the moving wheel and the stationary chain, but really the whole chain needs to be in sharp focus. Could be interesting if you did something similar with the centre of the wheel - focus on the brake caliper for example and spin the wheel at different speeds to see what you get.
