It's that time for me, I need to replace my tyres.

Reading up on here it seems that most people recommend Michelin Pilot Sport 4 or Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Sport. Looking around it seems that the Michelin is now Pilot Sport 5, anyone fitted the 5 yet? Any feedback?

Also, the difference on a set of 4 is a about £200 (Michelin being more expensive). Are the Micheli's worth the extra?

I went with Dunlop Sport Max RT 2 last year in the 35 size. Car feels nicely planted - has loads of grip in dry and wet (unless as ever you overdo it..) plus feels just a lot better than on the old Falken Azenis. Plus they were easily available in the size I needed and decently priced. Thumbs up for them from here.

On a performance car Michelin is my "go to" brand. However, there's definitely nothing wrong with those Goodyears. IMO anything that says Pilot Sport or Eagle F1 on the side is a mighty fine tyre.

Can't go wrong with Michelin/Goodyear/Continental

PS5 has already won a group test.
