I'm new to knowing about the guy, but he does appear to sadly be a complete tool. Appears he also tried to drive the car underwater before hand? Bizzare life choices.

so complete new brakes on the front, new pads on the rear, fluid bled.
so straight after all that - full power straight away on track - he says "dont even have to use the brakes much - the regen is so good" - first big braking zone they fail!!!
or much more likely they were not fitted correctly.
What an idiot, im glad no one was with him in the car and he didnt take anyone out on track.

Chet says...
"He did not, however, switch away from DOT3 brake fluid. Regular track drivers wisely upgrade to a more track-friendly fluid such as DOT4 (or higher, depending on what else they change in the braking system) that safely operates at higher temps along with any upgrades on pads, rotors, or whatever else.
Chet says he will clarify the specifics of the failure in a future video, but his comment on the original video suggest that the lower boiling point of the lower-grade brake fluid caused the crash. That led to the worst-case scenario, with brakes failing near top speed on a 4,800-pound sedan."
This is utter b
ks you can see from the video it was the first time he had significantly touched the brakes.

Yep, clearly BS. "He did not, however, switch away from DOT3 brake fluid. These tadgers are doing more and more ridiculous stuff to gain views, wouldn't be surprised if it's staged. Not that I'll know cos I won't click on his video. Much like the fud who parachuted out his plane as if that wasn't staged...
I thought the same. Seemed to be a strange reaction as he crashed. Unfortunately I've binned a car at big numbers and you don't react like that. ChocolateFrog said:
Probably not even 50 but even a moderate hit of your head onto an exposed B pillar would be enough for permanent lights out.
Oh I agree, not somewhere I'd want to be even at 30mph, but the clickbait YouTube morons seem to be on steroids in the tesla community. It's all very odd. Mumsn3t said:
