So I bought a wee mini after being on the lookout for a decent one for what seemed like a age.

shes 1981 with 32k miles never been welded or painted totally original panels/paint with NO rust,
In fact the only mods have been cooper s front brakes with 12 inch wheels.

Had acually missed out on another mini last weekend then the same day this popped on monday.

Plans for it is just to use it and have a bit of fun tbh. I will put the miles on her this summer with a few trips I had planned going on the motorbike now it shall be the mini.

My uncle had a P reg mini in blue and although he was a mild mannered man he drove it like a demon

Or perhaps it just felt that way after me being used to my dad's Maxi

Love the wheels OP - mirrors not so much

Love it. My first car at University was a black 1981 Mini and I absolutely adored it, £320 it cost me and I was the only one of my friends with a car, so it was regularly 5 up and I am 6'3".

I shall follow your exploits with interest.

I do have another 1981 car now, but it is twice the size of yours :-)

Love the mini. Not often you see such a clean, unadulterated peanut of a mini like this.

They nearly all have Cooper kits, mini lites and bucket seats.

More photos please!

Assume its been garaged all its life if its had no welding and not made of cornflakes?
