Intermittent air-con
Discussion
Just hoping that someone can help with an air-con issue.
Had it re-gassed in January and it blows nice and cold for about 15-20minutes, then it just stops, no fans blowing or anything. If I turn off for a while (hour or so) then it will work again, but the cuts out again after a little while.
Local garage seem to think it's a leak, but if this was the case then surely it wouldn't restart after being off. Is there some switch/valve/sensor tripping tha could be causing it?
It's a 2016 Fiat Talento (Renault Traffic).
Cheers!

I would be tempted to think they may not have put enough "gas" in, take it back to them & get them to check it again.
If it was a leak the place that charged it shouldn't have recharged it as by law they have to do a vacuum & pressure test on it before charging it.
So they may have skipped the leak/pressure test and just charged it then. Will ask for the vacuum & pressure test results and see what they say.If it was a leak the place that charged it shouldn't have recharged it as by law they have to do a vacuum & pressure test on it before charging it.

What I meant was that virtually removes the chance of it being a leak.
They can't skip it by law, they will know that they can't & they know they could lose their license to work on A/C.
