Thinking of heading back north in near future for a visit to relatives up north - up M74 to glasgow and north crainlarich way etc. Any info on areas to keep close eye on speedo would be appreciated.

Watch the overhead bridges on the M74 just north of the border - for about 20 miles or so. There are some fixed cams around Glasgow, but all old-style gatso, so can be spotted well in advance, few mobile vans in the Glasgow area. North of Glasgow on the A82 to Crianlarich is generally free of cameras, but the occasional battenberg waiting.

J15-16 A74(M) to be precise, over the outside lane.

Dead easy to avoid those pesky cameras, do what I do, get up to about 70-75, and click on the cruise control, makes driving easier, and no worries about points or fines..........
