As above, any recommendations? If they are also able to install an outside socket at the same time that would be a bonus.

What’s the going rate for charger installs and what sort of variables are there when it comes to installation costs?

About £800 minimum for a smart charger. That is where the cable runs are simple and the CU has spare capacity.

If it needs a new dedicated CU, or has a long/awkward cable run, you will be looking at £1200 upwards.

I went for an Andersen A2 charger. Needed something that had a hidden cable. It’s been working great.
