Hi all,

I have a slight problem frown

Recently some high level masonry painting was carried out near our house. Sadly (bloody inevitably) my car now has hundreds of micro dots ow white paint on it (metallic black)

Does anybody have any suggestions for a local company to remove/polish this?

TIA

Maybe use Facebook to find a local mobile detailer.
I had a nightmare trying to remove some on mine a while ago, even a clay bar wouldn’t shift it and I resorted to some petrol on a rag in the end !

Feels like it should be negligible when this happens.

Maybe the clay bar wasn't harsh enough mate, they do all have different grades.

After claying you'll always need to polish.

Try clay bar first,
You'll need to polish afterwards anyway, between chemical and polishing it should remove it!

However , if not working, wet sanding may be required in the worst case!

Thanks everybody,

I wont be sorting this problem myself - the issue was caused by a third party and they will be paying for it (indirectly)

It's not a cheap car so i need it professionally remedied - recommendations welcomed

Depending on timescale, I would try and get it looked at asap and keep it out of the sun, as the paint will harden for the first few day.

Too late..... frown

I WFH - it was dirty, washed it and Ferk

It's microdots - 0.5mm Square, but lots of them
