Having read the previous on "translucent" plates do they let enough light through to make them legal? and are they any different than the normal ones?
as will be picking my Chimaera up this weekend and do not want to be picked up if you know what i mean.
Perfectly legal as far as i'm aware - they were standard issue from new.

any doubts about plates and fancy plates {Northern Ireland] will supply TVR specific ones. Mine have just come out a treat.
Internet based oder and just say in the notes that it's needed for a TVR and they'll supply a translucent one

We supply them with the translucent material.
Its about the only exciting application for the stuff!
