they are quite unreliable though... friend on the NE forum has one and the first time I saw it, it jammed the horn on when he took any bends

Did you see the one on E Bay earlier this year, which listed every single failure and breakdown?
The guy put some ridiculous reserve price on it and then tore the thing to pieces.
I am pretty sure that the factory agreed to fix it after all the bad press he managed to give out.
I assumed it was just a Friday evening car, but if you have also heard about reliabilty concerns, then maybe not.
