I have only heard good things about this guy and thought I would ask him to buy/sale-or-return my car.

Since speaking to James and sending him details - he has told me the car is great etc etc, I cannot get him to return my calls or emails.

Is this a typical level of service from a company that I believed to be reputable or is he simply a salesman who is only interested in buyers rather than sellers?

Is it worth me persisting with him as I really do need to sell my motor?

James really is the best.

He is a very busy chap and emails do sometimes stack up, but trust me once you have
dealt with James, you are unlikely to want to deal with anyone else.

I'm sure he'll be along soon...

As GCarbera says, James does get very busy, so I'm sure he will get round to you ASAP. He's a decent bloke, so don't worry.

Oh, and this site does have a "no name and shame" policy...

Was wondering about that but wasn't trying to shame, just name . I know he has a lot of fans on this site and that is why I contacted him in the first place.

Also difficult to ask for opinions without naming the compnay involved!

Looks like I should just wait then.

Maybe he's on holiday!
I can only echo what others have said, he has sent me quite a few emails when I asked about the history of my car, and he didn't have to as I've never had any financial dealings with him before. He certainly comes across as a genuine bloke who is passionate about TVRs.

I am here just sent Richard an email update. We currently have five Cerbera's in stock and do have his car details he emailed that he wishes to sell, so hopefully that will help.

Thanks for the mentions - just to say if anybody cannot get me as I may be in the following situation.

A/On the phone

B/Being driven at 150mph + in a TVR passenger seat with a person I have just met five minutes earlier, trying not to show them I am scared.

C/Asleep

D/Out of signal

E/Under a TVR - being show by TVR Power how much money Dom wishes to extract from my account.

F/Seeing that it is Flasher on the caller id

Yup .. james is always busy 'cos quite simply he's hte very best out there and everybody wants to use him oo er. Even his wife has to leave messages on his answerfone so don't be too disheartened you didn't get a speedy reply .. i assure you the pleasure of dealing with james will be well worth the wait.

I think it also has a "no advertising" policy too.
