Hi all,
Possible daft question. Girlfriend bought a used Aygo from a Toyota main dealer in October. Realised last week while getting her accounts sorted that she hadn't received the V5 or an invoice for the car. Sent them a message and today a V5 has arrived with a change of keeper date of 30 June 2022. It's now her name so fine, but what effect, if any will the wrong dates have on anything? if it's significant can it be easily changed?
don't think the invoice has arrived yet

Thanks in advance

The only issue I can see is that any NIPs for motoring offences prior to the 30 June will have gone to the previous registered keeper.

I'll give her the good news!

Just wondering what the accountants will make of it as she's a sole trader and was planning on changing the tax treatment of her car. One for them rather than the might of PH

I would make sure the invoice has the correct date, that is the proof of ownership and when she purchased the car. It is also within the dealers gift to make sure that is correct.
I wouldn’t worry if the date on the V5 isnt the same as the date on the invoice.
