Warning light cluster illuminating randomly

MOT garage have told me that this could be an MOT fail’

Side lights headlights and rear fog Iights all off but warning lights start to light up dimly once on the move and and increase in Intensity as journey progresses.

Is this just a case of providing an alternative earth supply to the cluster?

You could try it just to rule it out but I'd get to the root of the problem before it affects other things.
Is it warning lights such as charge warn and oil pressure etc?

It only affects the 3 light cluster for head /sidelights/ fog light. Other warning lights appear to be operating correctly

I'm guessing they ground on the notorious transmission tunnel bolt but maybe someone else can confirm.
Strange fault though.
