Heycar free fuel

I bought a car and while I was looking somebody mentioned heycar.
Visit website, and a box pops up offering help - they can recommend you a car, then if you buy that specific car they will arrange free delivery, knock 250 off the price, or give you £250 of free fuel.
The offer depends on the car but as far as I could tell any car they’ve suggested will get you the free fuel.
I was looking for a fairly niche car so requested advice, limited my search to a quite specific budget, got sent links to three cars and bought one of those direct from the dealer.
Whether you’ve already been interested in or enquired on the car is probably irrelevant.
Sent heycar proof I’d bought it (sales receipt) and I have received a £250 fuel card.
They also have a concierge service - mot reminders, breakdown assistance etc.
Sign up to that and you get a further £50 fuel card.
I now have £300 free fuel
Haven’t used the cards yet but it seems legit.
As a business model I’m utterly flabbergasted but there must be something in it for them!

To be clearer these aren’t cazoo type cars, they’re main dealer or independent dealer stock already advertised on autotrader etc.
Heycar don’t own the cars, they just seem to get a kickback from the dealer in some way - that’s the only theory I have as to how they make any money!
