VW Golf R32 mk4
Discussion
Just today purchased a Golf R32.
2003, 89K miles, service history, recent full service / haldex service.
New radiator recently fitted. Rear pads recently fitted. Full years MOT.
Has also been detailed and ceramic coated.
3 door, black, black leather, has the proper R32 wingback type seats also. Totally standard.

More pics to follow when i get it home and cleaned.

Lovely! Big fan of these. Thinking about selling my Corrado VR6 to get one. Private or garage sale?
Private sale. Friend of mine has owned it for about 2 years. Hes more in to his classic stuff though - hes a handful of Sunbeam Tis, a 1969 Mini Cooper, a handful of 1275GTs, mk2 Golf GTI, mk1 Golf GTI. Hes running out of space so he was making noises about selling this.He was way off on price as he'd "left it to a couple of people" at a certain price and they'd said they'd come back to him, but never did. So i think what i got it for is quite decent. Needs a couple of little things - but i think i've the headroom in the price to do the work.
Expensive morning!
Road Tax - £360
Insurance - £231
Non standard double din stereo in it, so ordered up the original and CD autochanger from Ebay - £131
Battery box cover was missing - ebay again - £24.99 delivered.
Exhaust was blowing out. Doesnt look in great shape, so have ordered a Milltek Stainless Steel exhaust for it - £611 delivered.
On the to do list -
Wash it - it arrived here very dusty (that pic is from the last time it was at my house).

- Headcloth sagging - i've been researching how to resolve that. Looks "ok" to do.
- Centre arm rest very loose - need to look in to that.
- Airbag light on - previous owner STUPIDLY moved the passenger seat yesterday when cleaning it out
I've a code reader / airbag light reset tool coming today. Hopefully it just needs a reset.
- Centre LED display badly faded. I "might" get that refurbed.
- Discs - i had a recollection the last time i drove it that there was brake vibration from high speed, but i didnt get that last night. I'll monitor those.

Love these best colour to,
A Polo 6R headlight switch is a good mod for these, fits straight in/out without modification, the silver detail really lifts it and it matches all the other details in the cabin.
I have the same head unit as your outgoing by the look if it, I really rate it in terms of features and the hands free is great but the touch controls are pretty bad, my car being a cooking model has the multifunction steering wheel so I rarely interact with it, would drive me mad otherwise
