I'm actually surprised more politicians don't react in this way, given the level of ste they get. Like when cretinous reporters shout to MPs/Ministers outside No 10 "Are you going to resign Minister?" and other sure inane questions, do they really think they are going to get a reply ?".

"Are you going to resign Minister ?"

"Why don't you fk off !"

I'm sure this thread will get shut down in the next 5 minutes - but to the OP, is that really what you want and would you say the same if it was a Labour minister that did it?

Seriously? You think that’s an acceptable way for anyone to react? You think it would be acceptable for an elected official to tell a journalist doing their job to fk off?

Specifically in my example of reporters shouting stupid questions to MPs that they know full well they will not get a response to; yes - tell the reporter to stick their question up their hoop.

Just like in the HoC; MP stands up and spouts complete ste and no one can say a word when really the correct response is "The honourable member is talking cobblers, and they know it".

But they are not doing their job. They shout stupid questions that they know they will not a reply to. Why do it ? I'm not talking about in an interview, I'm talking about shouting at them outside Number 10. Really ? Shouting at MPs in the street? That is not acceptable either.

I'd love to see the Venn diagram of posters who were furious when Angela Rayner called Johnson scum and people who are sure this is definitely a good way for the Education Minister to behave.

I loathe J R-M, but he is unfailingly polite, even when those scumbags targeted him and his son and were asking his son what it's like to have a for a dad?

Yes. Their jobs. Asking MPs questions. Trying to get information. That’s the job of the press, and that includes doorstepping Ministers, and they do get replies.

Agreed.
It's about the only thing Mogg does right. I wish more of the population would have decent standards.

Did either of you watch the video? The crowd was singing. She committed a public order offence. You think that’s acceptable? Given the behaviour of the current government it’s not surprising though.

If Angela Raynor did this, then the feel and consensus of this thread would be very different…
