A dealer is obliged to offer 3 months warranty with any car unless you signed to say it was spares or repairs I believe.

There is no legal requirement to offer a warranty, they do have a legal obligation regarding the sale of the goods though for 6 months.

I must have made it up/mistaken what I was told/was told some bullst or other.
I always thought that a motor trader was obliged to cover a vehicle for 3 months and that it must be roadworthy and sold as advertised.
That said, even then I suppose warranty is the wrong word even if that were the case.

Car comes with 6 months RAC warranty, (Platinum). Dealer refusing flywheel issue due to age/mileage Car 2014 65K. Had no contacted for a week until I requested refund, then was told car is fixed and ready during that call.

Oh dear this awkward OP...

You should have rejected straight away, but now the dealer is playing silly buggers and so down the rabbit hole we go...

Do you know a friendly solicitor?
