Hi all,

My Astra died a week ago, left me needing to get it home via RAC. It's a 2005 mk5, z14xep engine.

The RAC gave me the engine codes of:
P0201
P0202
P0203
P0204

Which is all my fuel injectors, a few months ago a fuel pump fuse died on me leading me to think it was issues to do with that.

I'm not a mechanical person by any means, but after having spent an hour googling and youtube a few things I went out and managed to get the car to start by jumping the fuel pump relay (pin 30 and 87).

The car started right up, without any issues.

I tested the relay with a 9v battery, it clicks as it should. I don't have anything with 12v to test it... The fuse on the fuel pump is intact and fine and hasn't blown since.

So what does this mean? Am I now right in thinking that the ECU isn't telling the relay to turn on the fuel pump and this is a ECU issue?

Thanks

I would say so, but that doesn't mean it is an ECU fault, it could be that something is telling it that it can't start, ultimately you need to get it somewhere competent to look at it.

First thing I'd be checking would be is the ECU seeing the injectors
