I enquired about a car that's been involved in an accident, and now a cat s.
Making a few enquiries over the phone (to the company that is now selling the car), they said according to the idrive, its had TWO services in its lifetime.
It's a 2014 m235i with 64k on the clock, with 1 previous owner, so presumably the owner has had the car since new?

Could there be a mistake on the system, or did the owner really only service it only twice having done 64k miles and in its 8 years?!
I can't get my head around it, it's bizarre!

Probably just not updated properly

Get the VIN & reg and speak to BMWE to confirm what info they have on their systems for it...

Thanks for your reply.
OK will do that. Could it be the fact it was involved in an accident the system's not working like it should? I wouldn't have thought so as no airbags went off.

It could in theory do 18k-20k before the idrive tells you it needs a service

first at 19k, 2nd at 38k .. next would be due at 57k so that only makes it a few k overdue it’s third

However they should be serviced every two years and brake fluid

Not the best tbf but I bet it’s not the only one with such light servicing
