Diamond Cut Alloy Repair

First off it doesnt matter who did it but it wasnt me

Our BMW 5 series with beautiful diamond cut alloys has had a bit of a kerb thing resulting in a 5cm scratch which is almost invisible just as the rim meets the tyre.

The car is likely a keeper so Im not sure what to do

If theres likely no further aggro then Im tempted to leave it as its unnoticeable apart from on forensic examination

My stress is that Ive heard BMW diamond cut wheels can be partial to corrosion if they are compromised and this is a hassle I dont need

Therefore comments welcome, as is a recommendation for a good repair place in Leeds

The issue is once the finish is damaged water can penetrate & you'll get the white spidery lines working their way under the lacquer.

Bit of clear lacquer over the scratch to seal it.

As above - you can likely sand out the scratch by hand too - and then lacquer over the top.
