How tall is this office building?

We need to get a scissor lift for this building to do some work on the side, all the way up to the roof but I have no idea how tall this building is and the landlords don't either. It's going to be a best guess I think. Any ideas?

I’d say the door and it’s glass panel above combine to around 3 meters

So I’d say 15 to the eaves, 20 to be safe?

Measure from the gravel edge to bottom of the edge of the cream over hang, times it by 3 and add a few feet?

If i were doing this i would allow 75mm per course or brickwork and add a bit

Wouldn't rocket launched grappling hooks with long enough lines attached be sufficient?

Door and panel above are 2.85m. All other panels above that are 2.1m each. Or thereabouts anyway, my eyes started going funny towards the top!

Counting the brick courses is perfectly accurate as has been suggested but some trigonometry could do it too.

I've done some work in the past to locate someone from a photo using http://suncalc.net and an object of known size in the photo to work out where they are and their location using shadow measurements which the above calculator can help with so I'm sure with a bit of work you could work out the height of the building using the measurement of the building's shadow and the sun's angle from the sun calc site.

I'd count the bricks though if I were you

Estimate an equivalent horizontal distance on the ground out from the entrance by eye. Measure it with a tape measure, add a factor of error.

Hire a Disto from a tool hire place. Should only be a couple of quid and it'll tell you to the millimetre.
