Due to arrive next week, (just before the ice and snow set in here in Aberdeen):- Chameleon Orange, black leather, 18" Anthracites etc etc, and grin stuck on face from confirmation of delivery. So pleased even prospect of imminent Scottish winter does not bother me at all.
Have driven 4.0 Chim and 4.2 Cerb as every day cars to and from work for last three years, only worst of ice and snow stopped them for a few days, so it'll be interesting!!
(Mate of mine drove Pontiac Firebird in Oslo for several years - main problem - front air intake scooped up and compacted snow - hope same problem does not happen with the baby!).

Richard,
I feel a little guilty - not sure if I should. Hope the decision was an easy one!

From my experience, Scotland it's the perfect place for a Sagaris. Nice cool temps, stunning beyond belief, smooth and fast roads, not many other cars about.

I had the driving holiday of my life in a Lotus Esprit turbo SE there in 1991. Sheer bliss driving all over the highlands. My only concern now is that I imagine the whole place is awash with speed cameras nowadays. Apparently wales is already? How desperately tragic!

I can also report that driving a t350c last year in snow that it was actually surprisingly good. In particular the brakes were simply unbelievably good at resisting lock-up. Truly impressive. The car coped very well overall considering the tyres and weight etc. I only needed a push once!

Great choice of car,I love the Sagaris.
It,s great that another TVR will be on the road in Scotland,I bought my tuscan 2001 3 months ago and have had a fantastic summer driving it.
Not too sure about taking it out in the Snow though..

John, I reckon that going to Tesco will be on the menu - that quick nip up the road to Inverness or Oban and back!!! Any and every excuse!
My mind was pretty much made up, but it was the appearance of "Sagaris The Grey" last week that cemented the decision - I'll be owing a few beers to you over time!!
I am trying to get the delivery arranged for Friday - to be able to make the Alford MG/TVR day - up to my neck in vessel mobilisation - but transport a problem from Henley to Aberdeen.
Any suggestions / offers welcomed!
Re weather, the Chim coped very well with bad conditions - light feet help.

BEWARE going to Tesco............especially on a Sunday morning.

Popped into our newest, just out of town store last Sunday only to buy a bunch of flowers for our party host
and couldn't see Ray when I came out.

What I did see was a swarm of peeps round a car........couldn't see the car!!!!!!

Prepare for mobbing at Tescos........

Flying down to LHR tomorrow morning, pick up Sag from Henley, drive to stay over with friends in Kirbymoorside, Yorkshire, then Sunday up to Alford, Aberdeen for the TVR/MG day. Itchy for it!!!
