Calling All Cars Jaguar XK120
Discussion
I don't know about you, but I love watching crusty old films just for the locations and cars.
I watched Calling All Cars yesterday and two ladies were having an adventure in an XK120.
I'd never noticed a Jag with two filler caps next to each other before? Any experts out there that can enlighten me?

The car is still alive too!
Vehicle Details
Vehicle make JAGUAR XK120
Date of first registration April 2010
Year of manufacture 1952
Cylinder capacity 3442 cc
CO₂ emissions Not available
Not sure what's going on with the registration date?

MDU524 was a works car which famously took the speed record for a production car at Jabbeke. It was retained as a works car for rallying and maybe ran on trade plates or had to be re-registered when Jaguar let it go.
Photos of the speed record attempt show a flap for the filler cap.
And here it is with its aero bubble! Photos of the speed record attempt show a flap for the filler cap.
Is it definitely two fillers or could it be a trick of the light / reflection; the paintwork looks to be well polished/ waxed judging by the relections on the offside rear wing.
It seems odd that, if there were twin fillers, that they'd be side-by-side as that could potentially cause difficulties when put to use as the refuellers would probably be getting in each other's way, defeating the intended purpose.

The Internet car movie database shows the chassis number of 660986 which is the record car.

Has a discussion about the two fillers
From the comments there I wonder whether two cars were used in the filming.

100% two fillers. It seems odd that, if there were twin fillers, that they'd be side-by-side as that could potentially cause difficulties when put to use as the refuellers would probably be getting in each other's way, defeating the intended purpose.
