On a recent trip along the Thames I was struck not only by what I call 'Dutch-style' cruisers but by the sheer number of them, from tenders and day boats to 30'+ cruisers. The Antaris style and colours really struck me as being so much more modern than the usual predictable white jobbies. After some surfing I'm interested in the 950, not much bigger than my Shetland 27 but it seems a 'proper' boat not a cheap MDF job. Has anyone got any experience/knowledge of Antaris?

There are quite a few brands who make these dutch sloeps style boats now.

Antaris being one, Intender, hawker, Cooper are a few others you can look up.

I went to the Amsterdam boat show to look at this style of boat a few years ago. Generally they are all very well made and great for river cruising, and coastal cruising for the bigger ones.
Thanks. Whoever's selling Antaris on the Thames is earning a good commission! We got chatting to a man who'd just bought a s/h one; he said there was a four year waiting list for new ones!

ETA Odd, your post just disappeared.

I had deleted my post after searching the exact model you mentioned...

What I was looking at was a more open/ day boat version so my reply wasn't entirely relevant.
