Hello..

My smallblock is currently running a Holley 750. Prior to doing the final fit of the engine I am debating going for a replacement aftermarket injection system. Research shows that Accel, Holley and Edelbrock all appear to do suitable systems, does anyone here have any experience of any of them (or know anybody who has..)

Cheers..

Paul

You might also want to look into the FAST speedpro, and possibly the autronic sm2.

I know of a gent selling a Holley 4Di system. Cheap give me email if you interested. I Think he only wants 350 Quid. I also don't think he knows exactly what he's got ie should be more than that. Email me today and I could bring it to the Virgina Water PH meet tomorrow.

Hi,
I'm running the FAST efi injection system and I absolutely love it! The latest windows software even allows someone else to look at your data over the internet. If you want to delve into the EFI stuff, then you should check out the EFI messege forum at www.chevytalk.com. They have both Holley and FAST technicians who participate in the forum. Its been an invaluable help to me in setting up my injection. A good friend of mine also likes the Edelbrock system, and the factory has a lot of experience with that system as well.
Cheers!

I run a Speed pro sequential multiport wideband O2 system in my AC Cobra replica with stack throttle bodies that look like Webers but without the headaches. I had no experience with fuel injection systems before installing it and it runs flawless. The Speedpro system lets you monitor you Air/Fuel ration on the fly so I just get one of my buddies to drive the car (Not too much persuasion is required) while I monitor the laptop. It also lets you record runs on the computer and save them to a file. Typically I will have the driver do a WOT acceleration pass and record it because operating the laptop during these runs is impossible. After the run you can tweak the fuel map if it ran lean or rich during the pass. Send me a mail if you have any questions. I have heard nothing but good things concerning the Motec system besides the cost it would have been someting around $9000.00 US for the system, wiring harness and all sensors. The Motec seems like overkill for a street car but for racing it is awesome I hear you can do remote telemetry and remotely monitor things like tire pressure barometric presure, football scores etc netc etc....
